On March 1, 2025, at the Innovation Centre Kosovo (ICK), a formal cooperation agreement was signed between Elen and ICK. The partnership aims to develop joint programs in green technologies, with a strong focus on educating and training young people in the clean energy sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This collaboration marks a strategic step toward bridging vocational education with the real needs of the industry, contributing to a more sustainable future for Kosovo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Academy for Solar Energy and Battery Storage Solutions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

As part of this agreement, the Academy for Solar Energy and Battery Storage Solutions<\/strong> was established\u2014an educational program aimed at empowering young people through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Full scholarships for professional training in renewable energy technologies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Paid practical work experience at Elen;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Hands-on training based on modern standards and contemporary technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    This initiative is part of the \u201cTechEco Pathways\u201d<\/strong> project, supported by the \u201cSkills for Sustainable Employment in Kosovo\u201d<\/strong> program, funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by LuxDev<\/strong> \u2013 the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Intensive Training: \u201cSolar Energy and Batteries\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    <\/div>\n\n\n\n

    From March to June 2025, as part of the academy, a three-month professional training program titled \u201cSolar Energy and Batteries\u201d<\/strong> was successfully carried out. The program was led by engineers and experts from Elen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Twelve scholarship recipients were selected to participate in this advanced training, which included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Theoretical lectures and hands-on, in-field training with real-world technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Design and installation of photovoltaic solar systems;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Battery sizing and energy storage management;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Hybrid solutions for energy storage and optimization;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Theoretical lectures and hands-on, in-field training with real-world technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Certification Ceremony: A Shared Success Moment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      On June 23, 2025, a graduation ceremony was held at the Innovation Centre Kosovo (ICK), where 12 participants from Elen\u2019s training program were officially certified for successfully completing the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      During the same event, additional participants from the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity were also certified, bringing the total number of graduates supported by LuxDev under its sustainable development initiative to 41.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      This achievement highlights the power of collaboration between the private sector, educational institutions, and international development partners \u2014 all working together to empower youth and prepare them for the challenges of the green economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
